Op het Scrapfever forum zijn we weer begonnen met de fotoswap.
Deze heb ik voor Cissy gemaakt. Het is een foto van haar meiden.
Ik vond het nog best moeilijk om op 20x20 te scrappen!

De gebruikte sketch is de rechterkant van de sketch. Ik heb wel ander papier gebruikt dan de linkerhelft want dat paste gewoon beter bij de foto's.
In Amersfoort heb je een project kies je muziek en Nikki heeft dinofluitles gekozen; de voorloper van de dwarsfluit. Best nog wel moeilijk om er geluid uit te krijgen hoor

Op het sf forum host ik life 2012
Elke maand plaats ik een sketch voor een spread en één voor een lo. Die kun je gebruiken om je leukste foto's van die maand te scrappen zodat je aan het einde van het jaar een leuk naslagwerk hebt.

4 januari zijn we naar de wilde buitendagen gegaan van natuurmonumenten en hebben we een wandeling gemaakt om te zoeken naar "sporen in de winter". De meiden vonden het geweldig!

Week 1 is met mn nieuwe Tim Holtz clock stans, die moest ik natuurlijk gewoon even gebruiken. Week 2 is van een workshop op het blog van Boukje (ik vind haar kaartjes zo leuk!) en week 3 is met de magnolia kerstmanstempel die ik zo ontzettend leuk vind

Het is een redelijk simpele lo. Het papier is al druk genoeg.

fotochallenge scrapfever

Op het Scrapfeverforum is de fotochallenge deze maand klein maar fijn.
Deze foto heb ik ingestuurd. Omdat ik de foto erg moest verkleinen om hem te plaatsen kan je het niet goed zien in het forum. Ik zet hem hier dus nog maar eens neer voor wie hem goed wil zien.
Het is het plantje zonnedauw, dit is een beschermde plantje. Zoals je kunt zien aan de foto is het een ieniemienieplantje (kijk maar naar het mos ernaast). Het is een vleesetend plantje, echt fascinerend! We kwamen dit plantje tegen op een planteneiland (allemaal planten, drijvend op t water maar zo stevig dat je er gewoon met 10 man op kon staan) tijdens een vaartocht naar de aalscholverkolonie in het Naardermeer.

Deze kaart heb ik gelift ;-P Carla had voor de kerstkaartenchallenge een kaartje gemaakt met een folded tree. Ze had er ook een link bij gezet waar je de template kunt vinden. leuk is ie he?!

Omdat het dit weekend het sf scrapweekend is en er dus een heleboel forummers lekker een heel weekend aan het scrappen en beppen zijn (en het dus op het forum erg rustig is) heeft Marieke een online crop en 2 workshopjes verzorgd.

Het te liften kaartje van de crop is dit kaartje:

Ik heb van Jeanet een werkbeschrijving gekregen van een superleuk kaartje/doosje, ik denk niet dat ze het zelf verzonnen heeft maar ik weet niet waar hij vandaan komt.

heerlijk, er even een paar dagen tussen uit. We hebben lekker rustig aan gedaan, lekker uitgerust maar toch ook wel weer veel gezien; corpus, omniversum, museon, 3 x naar het strand. Ik heb niet veel foto's gemaakt (weet t, ga me schamen! geen foto's voor een scrapper, da's echt heel erg!)

het maken van foto's op het strand is niet goed gelukt omdat het erg waaide en het zand dus steeds in je ogen waaide (en in de camera ;-S) Ondanks dat was het toch erg lekker om gewoon even lekekr te wandelen en schelpen te zoeken

Wij zijn (al een paar weken) terug van vakantie. Wat was dat leuk zeg, we waren naar de Beekse Bergen. We hebben genoten van de Safari, we zijn wel 7 keer geweest. Foto's volgen later.
Ik heb een tijdje computerproblemen gehad. Jee zeg, dan merk je dat je echt wel afhankelijk bent. ik kon niet eens m'n bankzaken doen. Maar goed, Remco heeft een hele nieuwe, hele snelle computer gebouwd. Nu nog een goed fotoprogramma downloaden en ik kan weer lekker aan de slag.

my (not so little anymore) girl is addicted to colouring. I gave her some Nellie Snellen pencils (similar to derwent but waaaaayyy cheaper), some doezelaars and some terpentine and this is the first result. Great isn't it?

I can hear you think, that's an easy one. No way!!! I had lots of ideas but the all turned out really horrible ;-S I was even too late sending my atc's to the host. I finally made some cards that i was (a little) happy about

also at the sf forum we did a chinese whisperers. Do you know the game that you have to tell a sentence to the one next to you and they have to repeat it to the one next to them and you go a whole circle. The end ones tells what the sentence was and that normally turns out real funny. Well this is similar but then with a card.

yesterday, eefje and i went to Your zoap in lelystad. The workshop was a labelcard and it was such a gorgeous card! So may details!! We used Tilda paper

i made some little thank you pressies for Chelsey and Nikki's teachers
They are little memoboxes, the top flips and stands up, decorated with a nice image. very easy but nice to give

i also made a giftcard holder. Sometimes i give a hema, ikea or cd card as a present but it's never wrapped nice. I pinched (eehhh lifted ;-P) this holder from the hema vouchers. The card is stuck in the middle.

well not too difficult since i had to make a b*day card for a little boy who will be 2 next month

On the dcd christmasclub (http://dcdchristmasclub.blogspot.com/2010/12/hi-everyone-karen-here-welcome-back-to.html) the challenge is purple and orange. I don't have purple and orange christmaspaper anymore so i decidee to use some bobunny sunkissed summer paper ;-* it has the perfect colours.
I am not too happy with this card (it's too simple but more embelishments will look so silly with this paper) but i will enter the competition anyway, i might make another card if i have time

The challenge is use kraftcardstock. That is not difficult since i use kraftcardstock a lot.
Finally had time to join a challenge again, it's been a while

I saw these little beads at the xenos and knew i just had to have them ;-P
I have the perfect stamp with a keisha image. I fell i love with this stamp but don't use it often.

This is the other card i made. No cutestamp on it, just a text and two tags to write on

Antwerp and our 12 1/2 year wedding anniversary

Last sunday (december 19th) was our 12 1/2 year wedding anniversary. We wanted to go to London (christmasshopping) but that was soooooooo expensive; we can go for two weeks with the 4 of us on a summer holiday for the money that we would have to spend on 3 days London. No way!
So i had to look for an alternative. And that alternative was Antwerp. And we had a GREAT ime!! Just loved it. The weather was very bad so the drive to Antwerp took us quite a long time (5 hrs instead of 1,5) but we arrived safely. We checked in at the hotel and we went out. We were in a clothesshop and we saw somebody from Amersfoort we knew, what a small world!
After a lovely dinner at Boston grill we went to the irish bar to watch some darts.
Saturday we did some shopping and a lot of walking. We went into a very expensive chocolatshop where we had some chocolat christmasballs made for the girls, with their names on it.

We went to see the glass house (music for life; there was a radiomarathon to raise money for the orphans. It was very busy and we couldn't get close.
In the evening some friends were going to come over for a meal but the weather was too bad. They didn't want to chance it (and i don't blame them it was slippery as hell with all the snow we had. so we decided to go back to the grillhouse we went to the day before. That shows what good quality it was!!! After dinner we went back to the glass house and to the irish pub.
On sunday we went to the vogeltjes markt but that wasn't how we remembered it from 15 years ago. We also booked a citywalk with a guide. That was so great! We saw so may beautifull buildings. We could go inside the city hall, normally not open for the public. In one word amazing!!!!! It was snowing really hard but still managed to take some nice photos from the walk.

We saw bagpipeplayers (nothing under their quilts with this weather, look hoiw hard it was snowing! Poor man!!)

We went for something to drink since we wer soooo cold from that 2 hrs walk. after that we had an early dinner at the Pelgrom. The entourage of the restaurant was great (in the cellars) but the food wasn't, what a pity!

After dinner we went back to the hotel and after a very nice hot bath we went to bed, we were so tired!
Our hotel was in the jewish area where all the diamant shop are. o my, i´ve never seen so many diamants in my life, and the prices, real expensive, even with 70% discount
Mondaymorning, we got up really early and drove home. It took us 4,5 hrs to get back. The roads were really slippery and an couple of times we skidded brrrrrrrrr! scary that was! But we got home in one piece. We had an absolute great time
